Feeding Those in Need

At Integrity, we love highlighting leaders whose hearts are rooted in service. On the “Inspire” Podcast, we had the pleasure of speaking with Chester and Sherri Ash — the husband and wife duo behind C. Ash Group. Together, they are building a powerful legacy of giving back to their community through hard work and unwavering dedication.

Before entering the insurance industry, Chester had one of the most unique backgrounds among our “Inspire” guests — working as a bounty hunter and bail bondsman. Through every step of his journey, Sherri was by his side, supporting his efforts whether in bonds or building their now-thriving insurance business. However, the Ash’s story isn’t defined by their adventurous past but by their shared passion for service.

For Chester, the roots of that passion run deep. Growing up in a household with multiple siblings and extended family, he learned early on what it meant to struggle with food scarcity. At just 10 years old, he took on jobs — from carrying bags to fishing off the New Jersey coastline — to help provide for his family. Meanwhile, Sherri developed her heart for service through her church, where she has long been involved in ministries that provide food to those facing both immediate and long-term needs.

Feeding program

Together, Chester and Sherri have channeled their experiences into action through the creation of a program focused on providing nourishment to seniors. Their initiative supports thousands of families in Cleveland’s most underserved areas. Chester and Sherri provide free meals to anyone in need. At one of their events, the Ashes and their team served meals to over 1,000 people.

At Integrity, we are honored to partner with leaders who exemplify our core values of Family and Service like Chester and Sherri Ash. Their grassroots efforts to feed the hungry and care for their community reflect the spirit of Integrity, and we look forward to supporting their mission as they continue to make a lasting impact in the years to come.
