On June 19th, our Dallas Shared Services Center commemorated Juneteenth with live performances, food and drinks, fun games and a photo booth to capture the memories.
For those not familiar with Juneteenth, the celebration marks our country’s second independence on June 19, 1865, when the news of emancipation reached the last group of enslaved people in Galveston, Texas — 2 1/2 years after President Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation.
We loved sharing all the food and fun with our Integrity family. We were also grateful for the opportunity to ponder the meaning of Juneteenth and its continued significance in our lives.
Of course, we have a highlight reel of the event! Thanks to everyone who contributed to make the experience such a success — including our amazing vendors! To relive the wonderful moments and share them with those who couldn’t join us, please watch the video above.
We hope events like these help continue to foster a culture of diversity, unity and appreciation in all that we do!
