Amber Brown and Autumn Shields – Clogging for a Good Cause

Category: Integrity Contests, Integrity Serves

Date: April 29, 2021

Amber Brown and Autumn Shields of The Alliance have been practicing their clogging talents for 20+ years as members of Elite Feet Clogging in Burlington, North Carolina. This duo won many dancing awards long before working together at The Alliance. They explained, “We wanted to come out of retirement and clog one more time for a good cause. Neither of us had clogged in a few years but it turned out to be like riding a bike… up a mountain… in 120-degree weather.”

Despite the challenge of getting back into clogging, these two dancers make it look easy! After all, this is not Autumn Shields’ first time showing that she’s “got talent.” As a previous clogging contestant on America’s Got Talent, Autumn knew that joining forces with Amber would be a blast. Though reigniting their fire for clogging took a lot of courage, sweat and even a few falls, Amber and Autumn’s passion for dance prevailed.

Amber and Autumn’s chosen charity is the Make-A-Wish Foundation. This charity provides life-changing adventures for children with severe illnesses, which Autumn has a personal connection to. With a cousin that lives with severe birth defects, Autumn loves that this charity could benefit her 9-year-old cousin in the future. Integrity is proud to make a donation to the Make a Wish Foundation in Amber and Autumn’s names.
