Leslie Haugen Sculpts with Love for American Diabetes Association

Date: May 12, 2021

Leslie Haugen of North American Senior Benefits showed us she’s a woman of many talents with her video collection of art pieces — from sketch work and paintings to sculptures. She even created a brand-new sculpture of Medusa just for the competition, firing up her creative energy!

When selecting her charity, Leslie did not have to look far. Her younger sister Hannah — diagnosed at age 3 with Type 1 diabetes — was top of mind when the Integrity’s Got Talent competition opened up. The chance to contribute in a big way to the American Diabetes Association helped channel Leslie’s energy, bringing her best talents into the light.

Leslie has seen Hannah’s challenges firsthand: daily injections, blood sugar crashes and even seizures. She says, “The ADA works to help people like Hannah live more normal and less painful lives by researching ways to prevent, cure and manage diabetes.”

As an Integrity’s Got Talent finalist, Leslie not only won $1,000 cash, but we will be making a $1,000 donation to the American Diabetes Association in her name. By making it to the finals, Leslie now also has the chance to win $5,000!

Be sure to watch Leslie’s talent video for a taste of her artwork. Don’t forget that voting for the grand prize winner is open now and goes until Friday, May 14th at 5 PM CT.
