Jasmine Suazo’s passion for service and community impact has defined her personal and professional journey. Originally from Chicago, and the only girl among five brothers, she became a parent at a young age and was determined to rewrite her future. She earned a degree in political science from Howard University and a master’s degree in public policy from DePaul University, leading to work on Capitol Hill as a speechwriter.
Returning to Chicago, Jasmine held several prominent leadership roles, including Director for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, Director of Community Engagement for a charter school and Director of Communications for one of the city’s oldest and largest nonprofit organizations. She also founded a nonprofit dedicated to helping teen mothers access and complete post-secondary education. Alongside her husband, Ellis, she co-founded The Wealth Academy, where they work to empower thousands of agents and families to achieve financial independence through life insurance distribution and entrepreneurship.
Jasmine resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband and business partner, Ellis. She is passionate about education, women’s empowerment and helping others unlock the next level of their potential through purpose-driven leadership.
