Akki Roopani is the CEO of Team Visionary and a Managing Partner at Integrity.
Born and raised in Hyderabad, India, Akki immigrated to the United States in 2000 in pursuit of the American Dream, settling in Atlanta, Georgia. After years of entrepreneurship in the retail business, a chance introduction to the financial services industry in 2013 changed the trajectory of his life. He went full-time within six months and never looked back.
Akki built a team consisting of hundreds of licensed associates before transitioning to HGI (an Integrity company) in 2017, where he was directly mentored by founder Hubert Humphrey. That relationship has helped him achieve even greater success. Today, Team Visionary is a nationally recognized organization known for its unique model of welcoming professionals from all backgrounds on a part-time basis. With a field force composed largely of IT engineers, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs from the South Asian community, the team is united by a shared mission of bringing financial literacy from Wall Street to the kitchen table.
Akki resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Ronak, and their daughter, Zoe. Deeply rooted in faith and community, he and his family actively volunteer through their local temple — serving seniors and supporting youth programs in the Atlanta area. Outside of work, Akki is an avid reader and remains a passionate advocate for leadership development.
