Board Game Night Gets Heated

Recently, on the “Inspire” Podcast, we talked with Adam Brisolara and Zachary Markham of Fidelis Consultants to find out what happens when game night goes wrong.

Adam and Zachary are like family. One thing that has translated from work to home is their friendly competitive spirit. Both are driven — and like to win. That’s part of what makes game nights intense for the Brisolara and Markham families.

Zachary shared that his approach to insurance is the same as his approach to fishing. The key is to do the hard work — to buckle down and really put yourself into the action. That’s why Fidelis believes in working with their agents one-on-one, getting up close and putting in the hard work to yield success.

It was great to catch up with both Zachary and Adam. If you haven’t already, check out their episode of the “Inspire” Podcast for more great stories about Fidelis, family and fishing.

The other part? They both married women who are just as competitive as they are. Adam laughed as he told the story of Zachary’s wife throwing a board game piece at Adam once when a game got heated. But it was all in good fun.

Both men spoke on the podcast about how their wives have supported the business since day one and the sacrifices they’ve made to help their husbands build Fidelis. The two families, which include nine children between the two of them, enjoy spending time together. Both men come from big families, and they say that their shared commitment to family helps them continue to build their partnership.

If that wasn’t enough, the two families even vacation together. We caught up with them on their vacation in Alaska, where the two families enjoyed outdoor activities like fishing and off-roading. And, of course, there was a little friendly competition there as well.

We love hearing genuine stories about friendship and the importance of family. It was great to have Adam and Zachary on the “Inspire” Podcast, and we look forward to seeing great things from Fidelis in the future.
