The Dallas Team Gives Back With #IntegrityServes

At Integrity, service is one of our core values. We are always seeking opportunities to give back to our communities and help make the world a better place. Today, we thought we’d highlight a recent service project done by members of the Dallas Shared Services office.

Since 2019, the Dallas team has partnered with Union Gospel Mission Dallas, a charity that helps the homeless community in Dallas. In the past, service projects have included winter coat donations, clothing drives and a fundraising sale earlier this year that raised $800 for the local charity.

This recent service was when team members took time out of their busy schedules and visited the shelters. There, they helped with serving meals to those in need and facility cleanup. Team members also helped with post-meal dish duty and organizing the large on-site food pantry.

UGM Dallas was founded over 70 years ago by a group of Christian business professionals wanting to help the homeless in their area. They have built two large shelters, one for men and one for women and children. Additionally, they offer educational opportunities, child care and support, veteran support and medical care to those who need it. Their goal is to end homelessness by helping one person at a time. To learn more about UGM Dallas, check out their website.

We believe in the importance of service. We know that taking care of people, whether they are working with us or not, is an essential part of business. That’s why we encourage our Integrity family to take the time to give back to their communities. Charitable actions not only benefit those who are served, but the ones who are doing the service. To encourage service, Integrity offers 2 paid service days per year for community outreach and volunteering done during work hours.

If you or your team have organized service projects recently, we want to hear about them!  Share your acts of service on social media using #IntegrityServes.

Let’s flood the internet with positivity!
