There are many roads to success in the insurance industry. Some, like Divine Purpose Financial founder Alyssa Sica, discover theirs through a passion to build and serve. When Alyssa first joined the insurance industry at 21, she didn’t know exactly where it would lead. But what started as a desire for more opportunity and stability led to a career filled with purpose.
Through experiences working with clients, Alyssa grew to understand just how important and impactful financial literacy could be. She was shocked to discover how financial terms and strategies were little understood outside the business. Many of her clients were completely unaware of the financial systems surrounding them or struggled to grasp how they impacted their daily lives. She saw how hard they worked, yet no one had ever taught them how to truly build wealth, protect their families or set themselves up for a better future. Struck with determination to change more lives, Alyssa found true joy in teaching her clients and her agents about the path toward financial freedom.
Her calling didn’t stay within office walls for long. Believing that God had equipped her to reach further, Alyssa took her message online, sharing financial education with families and individuals across the country. That momentum eventually led her into California classrooms, where her guidance was sorely needed. She recounted that one high school student thought a checkbook was “…what you use when you don’t have any money.” But through participating in Alyssa’s financial literacy program, that student and many others of our rising generation have learned better, gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to better navigate the financial world. Alyssa says, for many of those students, it was the first time anyone had ever explained financial concepts to them.
Today, Alyssa and her husband and business partner, David, are growing a nationwide network of agents and leaders. Their shared vision is simple: empower others, build with a Godly purpose and create a legacy that extends far beyond themselves.
