Lessons Learned in the Trenches

On last week’s “Inspire” Podcast, we announced our most recent partnership with Brokers International. We were fortunate to chat with President and CEO Mark Williams about the legacy of Brokers International, his professional experience and the lessons he gained early in his life that made a big difference in his career.

Long before becoming a successful leader in the insurance industry, Mark Williams was in the Israeli army. After graduating high school in the U.S., Mark moved with his parents to Israel and chose to enlist in the military for 3 years. It’s clear that his formative time in the military helped him become the determined businessman he is today. Check out these great photos from those years:

While in the military, Mark learned that important lessons can come from unexpected people and places. Mark’s hard work in the military forged the incredible work ethic that brought him the success he sees today. Those experiences taught Mark that it’s always possible to learn something new, even in difficult circumstances.

We love to welcome partners who understand the importance of hard work and have the capacity to learn from every life experience. Welcome to the team, Brokers International!
