The idea of family is powerful. It’s a core principle that drives the Integrity family to be there for others. For new Integrity Partner Eric Schmidt of Schmidt Insurance Services, it was family that caused him to turn his back on a successful career in car sales and enter the world of insurance.

While Eric earned a good income working at auto dealerships, he realized his 70-hour work week meant he wasn’t there for his wife and three kids like he wanted to be. A chance connection with Integrity Partner Shawn Meaike led to Eric’s discovery of insurance — a career that offered him the flexibility he was seeking. Seeing Shawn’s success convinced Eric that it was time to venture out and start his own business.

Today, Eric attends every school play and every sporting event he can. His commitment to his priorities has led to prosperity and success. And with this Integrity partnership, his ability to balance work and home will be that much easier. The flexibility of insurance gave Eric freedom to do what he loves most: be a good dad.

We know that when we put our loved ones front and center in our lives, everything else will fall into place.
