Returning home after striking out on your own can be a hard thing to do. But for Anthony Rose, coming back to work for his father’s business, The Diversified Companies, was a great leap forward for his career and his family.

Anthony had been selling insurance for his dad while in college. But after graduating, he decided to do something different. By his early 20s, Anthony built a strong reputation as a sales recruiter in New York City. His knowledge of sales and interpersonal communication made it a natural career choice. But the long workdays and three-hour commute took its toll.

The solution to his problems was right in front of him: Bring his recruiting experience home and help build the family business. His experience brought new recruiting power and has helped the company grow in the years since his career change. Today, Anthony is the company’s President and Chief Financial Officer.

We loved getting to know Anthony and learning about his journey home.
