Robb Turnbull – Protecting a Community Treasure

Category: Integrity Contests, Integrity Culture

Date: May 19, 2020

Integrity Idol semifinalist Robb Turnbull of Neishloss & Fleming is supporting a charity that he is deeply involved in — Friends of Hopewell Park.

This local nonprofit organization works to maintain, improve and beautify Hopewell Park in Aliquippa, PA. It has roots in a club called Conservation, Fishing and Hunting (CFH) that Robb was part of in high school. Here’s how he describes it:

“Many of the current members of the Friends of Hopewell Park are alumni of CFH. Back then, our teachers gave us a greater love of nature. Now, we hold the torch — it’s up to us to pass along the spirit of preservation.

As a group, we handle everything from project design and implementation to fundraising and execution of those projects. Some of the projects we’ve participated in have been to clear deadfall trees, maintain the trails and pavilions, and create wildlife habitats. The goal is to preserve the space so future generations can enjoy the park.”
