The Beauty from Bogota

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from the “Inspire” Podcast, it’s that our Integrity partners are passionate about their hobbies. Osborn Insurance Group’s John Osborn is no exception. John’s love of high-performance automobiles led him to an interesting purchase to fuel his love of off-roading.

John is the proud owner of a completely restored 1979 FJ43 Land Cruiser. He had it restored by the FJ Company in Bogota, Colombia, and shipped to America. Describing it as his “weekend vehicle,” John looks forward to traveling around his home state of Missouri and beyond with his family.

He says the Land Cruiser gets plenty of attention. FJ Land Cruisers were not a popular vehicle in the United States. However, in South America and much of the Middle East, the car became known for its affordability and four-wheel drive capabilities. Made to withstand difficult terrain, it’s the perfect car for John to get out and spend time in nature.

John’s love of nature started in his youth. When he was younger, he lived and worked for a time in Yellowstone National Park. Now, he looks forward to opportunities to take his daughters out into nature and share his passion for off-roading with them.

It was great to meet with John and hear about his passion for off-roading and this industry. Tune in to the “Inspire” Podcast to catch more about John and his family’s legacy of insurance.
