The Family You Find

Recently on the “Inspire” Podcast, we talked with Jace Rosenbluth, President of MERIT Insurance Services. During our conversation, we learned about some of the magic behind the scenes of MERIT when Jace told us about one of their most valued employees, Caryl O’Connell.

Caryl isn’t just a coworker, she’s more like family to the Rosenbluths. She started as a receptionist 47 years ago, as Jace’s father Alvin’s “right-hand.” She was also there when Jace joined the company, and she was there when Alvin unexpectedly passed away and Jace took over at the young age of 27.

According to Jace, Caryl has been there through it all and attributes much of the success of the company to her constant support. Above is a photo of Caryl now, holding photos of herself and the MERIT family.

It’s no secret that family is incredibly important to us at Integrity. And it’s not just about the families we have at home, but also the family we create at work and in our communities. Many of us can think of “Caryls” in our lives that we can be grateful for. We are lucky to welcome a family-spirited company like MERIT to the Integrity team.
