The Story Makes the Pen

Category: "Inspire" Stories

Date: February 16, 2023

On a recent episode of the “Inspire” Podcast, new Partner Scott DeLong of DeLong Sales Group surprised our Co-Founder and CEO, Bryan W. Adams, with a beautiful pen with a unique design, that to him, symbolized Integrity and what we are building together.

Scott explained that the pen design was inspired by the classic novel Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. The story follows accomplished scientist Phileas Fogg as he sets a wager to circumnavigate the world in just 80 days — a seemingly impossible feat when the book came out in the 1870s. But with wealth and reputation on the line, Phileas and his assistant set out to do the impossible. Throughout the journey, the camaraderie of the two men inspires them to keep pressing forward and to never give up. And not only do they succeed, but they also make incredible discoveries and innovations along the way.

This is much like the story of Integrity, Scott continued. We are a group of accomplished people taking on a task that seemed impossible: The uniting of agencies nationwide as Partners, with a common goal and purpose of coming together to innovate the industry. This spirit of partnership, and our ability to utilize our individual strengths and talents, has helped Integrity grow into the amazing collaboration that it is today. Like Phileas Fogg, Integrity understands the importance of having good Partners along the journey and the power they provide.

We are thrilled that Scott, and the entire DeLong Sales Group team, have joined our grand adventure of innovating this industry. Be sure to check out the rest of our conversation with Scott on the “Inspire” Podcast to learn more about this fantastic partnership announcement.
