Treasure Hunting With the Grandkids

New Integrity partners Scott and Kimberly Rumbo of Yellowstone Life Insurance Agency love nature. Recently on the “Inspire” Podcast, they shared with us how they’ve taken that love of nature and turned it into a unique pastime.

Scott and Kimberly’s love of the outdoors begins at their home in Texas. They both love to spend time out and about enjoying the local scene at the Ft. Worth Stockyards. But the real fun begins when the whole Rumbo family leaves the city to vacation in Montana and relax with loved ones.

Since the relaxation doesn’t last long, with four young grandkids to entertain, Scott and Kimberly needed to find an activity they could all do together. Their answer? Invest in a metal detector! Now they’re able to share their love of nature with their grandkids by taking walks in the woods and hunting for little treasures.

They’ve found tons of miscellaneous metal items to add to the kids’ collection. They’ve also gotten into rockhounding, which is looking for geodes, fossils and other cool rocks. Scott says he missed his calling in paleontology, because it’s not just the kids who have fun treasure hunting; all ages are equally excited to find treasures in the woods.

We love hearing about our partners and the things they do to build relationships with loved ones. It sure sounds like Scott and Kimberly are quite the beloved grandparents! Go check out the rest of their story on the “Inspire” Podcast to learn more about these exciting new partners.
