Albert Vega is the President of Mint Health Insurance Agency.
Albert’s path into Medicare materialized from necessity. After losing his management position at a waste management company just five months before his wedding, and while closing on a new home, a good friend’s referral introduced him to the industry. What he found wasn’t sales — it was advocacy. He connected naturally with seniors, became a top producer and a year later brought Miriam into the industry alongside him.
Albert joined Mint as President in 2022 and the agency doubled in size during his first enrollment season. His lead-by-example philosophy and deep operational experience have been instrumental in scaling Mint’s presence across Southern California and into Texas. The agency’s culture — diverse, inclusive and people-first — reflects everything he and Miriam have built together.
Albert resides in Southern California with his wife and business partner, Miriam, and their two children. An avid golfer and deep sea fisherman who recently landed his first marlin off La Paz, Mexico, he is most at home on the water or behind a grill cooking with his kids. The family takes their 22-foot Sea Ray, Mint to Be, out to San Diego and Newport whenever they get a chance.
