Gardenia Alamillo is President of Determined to Serve (“DTS”) Financial.
Born and raised in Nebraska by a hardworking Mexican family, Gardenia credits her parents for instilling the values of faith, perseverance, humility and service that continue to guide her today. Before entering the financial services industry, she worked in clinical research, where she developed a passion for improving lives and serving others. That sense of purpose continues to drive her work at DTS Financial.
In her role as President, Gardenia has helped the agency become one of the fastest-growing financial brokerages in Central Texas. Her focus on leadership development, financial literacy and education, and expanding access to protective products and services has been a driving force behind the agency’s culture and growth. She is especially proud and honored to work alongside her life and business partner, Bruno Castillo.
Gardenia and Bruno reside in Austin, Texas. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time with family and mentoring the next generation of leaders. She believes success is measured not only by professional achievements, but also by the lives you impact along the way.
