Kim Kaufman is the Co-Founder of JK Financial.
Kim grew up in Trenton, Missouri, and moved to Columbia in 1990 to attend the University of Missouri. She graduated from Columbia College in 1994 with her registered nursing (RN) degree and worked as a cardiology nurse until 2000. Two years later, Kim joined JK Financial as a recruiter and life insurance case manager. Today, she leads the firm’s operations, including overseeing client onboarding, appointment scheduling and life insurance case management to help ensure a smooth, high-touch experience for the firm’s clients and team.
Kim and Jeff, her husband and business partner, have been happily married for 30 years and have two children. Their son, Cooper, has joined JK Financial as a financial planner and is married to Devin, together they have a son, Cayden. Their daughter, Ellie, is an interior designer based in Scottsdale, Arizona. As a family, they enjoy spending time at the lake, attending Mizzou sporting events and golfing.
