Hard Work Is in His Genes

On the most recent “Inspire” Podcast, we had the pleasure of hearing from Todd Stewart, CEO of our newest partner, One Resource Group.

Todd and his identical twin brother were adopted by his parents from an orphanage when they were six months old. Growing up, the brothers were intensely competitive, trying to be the best at everything and outdoing each other. That competitive spirit fuels Todd’s work ethic to this day. But it wasn’t until recently he understood where that drive came from.

Three years ago, Todd and his brother were able to get in contact with their birth father. To their surprise, they learned that their competitive work ethic was inherited from their dad. Their dad, a successful businessman, had built his own business on the same values Todd had brought to his leadership of One Resource Group. His dad had built a multi-state business empire and credits his own work ethic as the key to his success.

Nowadays, Todd talks to his birth father almost every day. They’ve been able to build a relationship as adults.

It was so wonderful to hear this happy story about Todd’s family reuniting. We are grateful for his willingness to share this story with us. Todd inspires us all to reach out to our own family members and make lasting family connections.
