Doing It My Way

On the “Inspire” Podcast, we spoke with the leadership team of our new Integrity partner, The Diversified Companies. One of the things we talked about was the unique path that Founder and CEO, Michael J. Rose, Sr., took to discover his career in the insurance industry.

For Michael, his passion for sales came at an early age. His first job was as a shoeshine boy at age 8. As he got older, he worked paper routes and at a local pizza parlor. He worked hard to learn how to meet the needs of customers.

He received his degree from the New York School of Interior Design and started his own home décor business. Later he got recruited to work as an investment advisor which pushed him into the world of insurance. Once he earned his license, Michael never looked back.

He became influential in the Northeast and Tri-State area markets as the founder of the National Association of Insurance Marketers. His influence is still felt throughout the community as a pioneer in this industry.

We are honored to have Michael and his sons partner with us at Integrity. His legacy inspires us to play to our strengths and seek innovation through hard work and service. If you haven’t had the chance, go listen to his episode of the “Inspire” Podcast to hear more about Michael and his very special rendition of the Sinatra classic, “My Way.”
