Integrity is proud to welcome leaders who embody the values of family and resilience. On the “Inspire” Podcast, Marcos Alcantar, Co-President of Senior Med Solutions, shared how his personal journey has shaped his dedication to both his family and his business.

Marcos grew up watching his father relearn how to walk after a devastating back injury left him disabled. His father, despite being disabled, worked tirelessly to ensure his children had a stable and happy upbringing. These lessons in strength and perseverance left a profound impression on Marcos and his brother Sal, guiding them as they built their insurance business.

But the most challenging chapter of Marcos’s life came when his own son, Axel, was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma (ARMS), a rare and aggressive tissue cancer, at just three years old. Over the next 16 months, Marcos dedicated every moment to Axel, accompanying him at every treatment and cherishing every day they spent together.

After a valiant fight, Axel passed away, leaving Marcos deeply grateful for the time he had with his son. Being in this industry allowed him the flexibility to prioritize his family during this incredibly difficult time. Today, Marcos channels his experiences into serving others, helping families navigate life’s challenges with empathy and care.

At Integrity, we are inspired by Marcos’ resilience and dedication to his family. His story is a reminder of the power of prioritizing what matters most, and we are honored to stand beside him as he continues to make a difference in the lives of others.
