Cameryn Rupa – Life-Saving Surgeries for Children

Category: Integrity Contests, Integrity Culture, Integrity Serves

Date: May 20, 2020

As an Integrity Idol semifinalist, Cameryn Rupa of ThomasARTS is supporting the charity Love Without Boundaries — an organization that helps children in Cambodia, China, India and Uganda receive critical surgeries.

Their mission has special meaning to Cameryn:

“In these countries, when children need a critical, expensive surgery, there are only two options: Pay for it in cash (because there is no insurance) or hold them until they die. Many people end up abandoning their children and the government takes them in. Love Without Boundaries finds families with children that need surgeries and assists them financially so the families can stay together.

I have two cousins that were adopted from China, and we are so happy that they are now a part of our family. Emily had a cleft lip and cleft palate, and Tate was born with his esophagus detached from his stomach. Both needed immediate surgery. It is very likely that their birth families couldn’t afford these surgeries and felt that they had to abandon their children.”

Here are a few photos of Cameryn and her healthy and happy cousins today:
