On the “Inspire” podcast, we were privileged to hear from McNerney Management Group’s legendary founder, Dan McNerney.

Dan is a man of many diverse talents — one of which is competitive roping. It’s a skill he worked very hard to develop, and his hard work paid off when he made it all the way to the high school rodeo national championships!

Dan couldn’t afford a camera at the time, so he doesn’t have any pictures of that event. But he did send us a great photo in front of his truck and horse that was taken a few years after high school (above). Throughout his life, Dan has continued to enjoy the challenge competitive roping provides. Here’s a more recent photo of him doing what he loves:
