For Matt, his professional journey is centered on strengthening his team, increasing their positive impact on families and establishing a legacy built for the future.
Matt’s path into the insurance industry began with learning the business inside and out. He wanted to build something meaningful on his own, so in 2020 he took a leap of faith and founded Key Retirement Solutions — with a focus on not just creating the company, but intentionally defining its culture as well.
From the beginning, KRS’ culture has been rooted in teamwork and leadership. Matt firmly believes in empowering his agents, ensuring they have the tools and autonomy to succeed. “We did it together,” he often says, reinforcing that the business’ success is the result of collective effort.
But for Matt, true success extends beyond the office. For him, it’s about family. He embraces his roles of husband and father and is dedicated to building a sustainable legacy for his three kids. Balancing work and family can be a challenge, but he’s found a unique way to spend more time together by inviting them to join the ride! Driving his RV from one Key Retirement Solutions office to another, he brings his children along for the journey, turning business trips into family adventures and making memories along the way.
Matt’s heart for service also fuels his leadership. Before entering the industry, he helped launch an equine therapy program for wounded veterans. Today, through the business, he leads several charitable initiatives, donating to Bravehearts for Kids, a pediatric cancer nonprofit, and Toys for Tots with every client referral.
