The Supportive Sportsman

We’ve heard about several unique features our partners have added to their headquarters over the years. But on a special video edition of the “Inspire” Podcast, we got to learn about one that might just take the prize: a full-sized wrestling club. The first floor of Ritter Insurance Marketing, all 5,000 square feet of it, has been transformed into a wrestler’s paradise.

Craig Ritter, CEO of Ritter Insurance Marketing, explains that the wrestling club began when an employee reached out about securing a space for wrestling practice. The employee, who also coaches at the local middle school, wanted to open a club and Craig saw the potential for the good it would do for kids in the community.

As a former wrestler himself, Craig knows firsthand the importance of sportsmanship. The wrestling club at Ritter Insurance Marketing is now a state-of-the-art facility that rivals most universities. It even has a full-service workout room and yoga studio attached for club members and Ritter employees to use and enjoy.

In addition to supporting wrestling, Craig is a proud sports dad. Whether it be watching his daughter play in the Villanova pep band or supporting his two sons in their different sporting ventures over the years, Craig has always been a proud and present sports parent.

We love hearing about the unique ways our partners connect with their communities and serve. It’s fun to see the causes close to their hearts and the reasons behind their support. Be sure to check out the rest of Craig’s episode of the “Inspire” Podcast to learn more about his amazing story and his influential work in the insurtech field.
