Ellis Suazo is Co-Founder of The Wealth Academy.
Ellis Suazo’s journey into the insurance industry was driven by his pursuit of purpose and financial freedom. He was born in New Orleans and raised by a single mother. At a young age, he became a parent, which motivated him to create a better future for his family. After earning a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Southern University and A&M College — and with no money, family or connections — Ellis relocated to Chicago in search of opportunity.
Ellis then spent over a decade in corporate America, ultimately serving as a Senior Consultant in rail design engineering. Though professionally successful, he found himself working long hours and living paycheck to paycheck. Together with his wife, Jasmine, Ellis co-founded The Wealth Academy — an insurance agency dedicated to helping agents and families elevate to new standards of financial freedom. This transition allowed the couple to build a business centered on legacy, leadership and meaningful impact.
Ellis now resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife and business partner, Jasmine. They remain committed to building strong leaders and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Outside of business, Ellis enjoys mentoring, personal development and spending quality time with his family.
